"The Four Elements" Wedding Planning Expo
We are a black owned and operated expo by two women navigating the wedding planning process. As we were in our wedding planning stages we noticed that there were things lacking the basic necessities of black people during that wedding planning process. We thought that it was time to meet those needs by creating a space where everyone who is getting ready to "tie-the-knot" can find exactly what they wanted and needed. Wedding planning is supposed to be an enjoyable time so why add to that. We are a very diverse company that wants to ensure that each person of any race, gender, ethnicity , and more can find those vendors that works with everyone.

The Four Elements
Why are we called " The Four Elements"?
There is a very old tradition birthed in West Africa by the Yoruba people.It has been used by the African American communities all around the world. The tradition consists of a tasting for the soon-to-be bride and groom. They taste 4 elements which are cayenne pepper (spicy), Lemon/Lime (sour), Vinegar (Bitter), and Honey (Sweet). These for 4 elements represent the stages that a marriage goes through to make it all worth it in the end.
